Because of your support, Red Lodge Fire & Rescue has a new training facility to help develop members' skills.

Our Vision

TRANSFORMING TRAINING FOR

EMERGENCY RESPONDERS

Our training center is already making a huge impact. Fire, EMS, Search and Rescue, and law enforcement from Red Lodge and surrounding communities now have access to a facility built for excellence.

  • Live Fire Training: Firefighters practice critical techniques in our burn building.

  • Patient Transport Drills: EMTs train in real-world scenarios, including moving patients through tight spaces using our moveable stairway.

  • Rope Rescues: Search and Rescue volunteers refine their skills on the building’s exterior climbing features.

  • Extrication Drills: Crews use the concrete burn pads for essential, hands-on exercises like vehicle extractions.

This facility allows us to train on our own equipment, fostering confidence and preparedness for real-world emergencies. By having this dedicated space, we’ve overcome the long-standing challenge of finding suitable locations for our training exercises.
