Because of your support, Red Lodge Fire & Rescue has a new training facility to help develop members' skills.

Our Vision

The plan: Blueprints of our multi-story building complete with smoke & burn rooms, moveable stairway, exterior climbing wall, classrooms, and concrete pads.

The Action: With funding secured, our dream began to take shape. The challenge of finding a suitable space for the diverse training exercises led by our dedicated volunteers each week is finally being solved

In Action: Our training center is now fully operational, ready to enhance the skills of our members. Fire, EMS, Search and Rescue, and law enforcement agencies from surrounding communities can now utilize this state-of-the-art facility.

In Action: Our members can now prepare for real-world scenarios before they happen, utilizing the ample space for training exercises like this extrication drill.

TRANSFORMING TRAINING FOR

EMERGENCY RESPONDERS

Our training center is already making a huge impact. Fire, EMS, Search and Rescue, and law enforcement from Red Lodge and surrounding communities now have access to a facility built for excellence.

Live Fire Training: Firefighters practice critical techniques in our burn building.
Patient Transport Drills: EMTs train in real-world scenarios, including moving patients through tight spaces using our moveable stairway.
Rope Rescues: Search and Rescue volunteers refine their skills on the building’s exterior climbing features.
Extrication Drills: Crews use the concrete burn pads for essential, hands-on exercises like vehicle extractions.

This facility allows us to train on our own equipment, fostering confidence and preparedness for real-world emergencies. By having this dedicated space, we’ve overcome the long-standing challenge of finding suitable locations for our training exercises.
